Greetings Nordic Vendors!
We are once again planning the Nordic Midsummer Fest. In an effort to reduce paper and postage, we are encouraging vendors to use electronic methods. Please check out our Website and Facebook page.
No early loading will be permitted without prior approval.
Entrants need to sign the application form indicating that their items have a Nordic/Scandinavian theme. We have a limited number of spaces available; you must apply no later than the deadline. Applications received after that date will be considered if there are openings or cancellations. Communications will go out soon after the deadline by your preferred method (indicated in the application).
A list of accepted artists will be continuously updated on www.nordicmidsummerfest.com as soon as they are available. If you have any questions, you may e-mail them to info@nordicmidsummerfest.com or call the NMF Coordinator at (612) 385-8749. We hope to see you at the Fest!
Location: Buck Hill Ski Area, Burnsville, MN (35 W and 160th). This event is held indoors and outdoors: on the ski area grounds and inside the Black Diamond restaurant and bar building.
Media:
Arts and Crafts that support and accentuate the spirit and intent of the Nordic Midsummer Fest are desired. Rosemaling, woodcarving, painting, graphics, pottery, sculpture, ceramics, photography, handicrafts, jewelry, weaving, and unique arts and crafts are encouraged. Original Nordic design items are preferred. All work displayed must be for sale. Artists receive all proceeds from their sales. Vendors are responsible for collecting and submitting their own MN Sales Tax, if applicable.
Display:
Each artist must provide his/her own props and display. Each artist will be responsible for setup, exhibition, and removal of display.
Application Process:
Please fill out the online form. Spaces are limited and early applications are encouraged. If mailing, include the registration fee, completed application form, MN Sales tax form and a photo of your work either electronic or print. All applications must be postmarked by April 1.
Registration Fee: The outdoor vendor registration fee is $125 for a 10 x 10 tent spot. Nordic Authors may register for a full table indoors for $100 or a half table for $50. Please pay through the online application process.
Spaces:
All outdoor spaces are 10’ by 10’. You will be notified of your space assignment when you receive your acceptance materials. Double spaces may be available. Outdoor spaces should be prepared for all weather types.
Cancellation Policy:
If your space can be filled from the waiting list, your full registration fee will be returned. Other refunds will not be made.

We’ve created a Nordic Midsummer Fest Facebook page, and ask your permission to use images that you supply for publicity of the overall fair and your specific booth.
